Broughty Ferry Ale Trail
There are a number of pubs in Broughty Ferry, which sell real ale from the cask, all in walking distance of each other and the railway station, as well as local bus services which stop on Queen Street and/or Fort Street.
This makes for a pleasant day out, although all of Broughty Ferry can get busy with visitors on Saturdays and during the summer.
Click on the links for pub details (most have seating outside in good weather).
The Royal Arch on Brook Street
The Ship Inn on Fisher Street (very popular at mealtimes)
The Fisherman's Tavern, just around the corner from the Ship Inn, on Fort Street (there is also a rear entrance with wheelchair access on Bell's Lane between the two pubs). The large patio at the rear can be accessed via the lounge or an external alleyway a few yards to the north.
Jolly's Hotel on Gray Street is a large Wetherspoons outlet, with wheelchair access down to the toilets via a small ramp.
The Anchor across Gray Street from Jollys has recently reopened after refurbishment.
