A popular locally-owned pub in the centre of 'The Ferry'. Sold in early 2025 by renowned publican Jonathan Stewart; the new proprietor John Black is continuing to supply excellent cask ales, and maintain the CAMRA discount available to members. With the station close by, train times displayed on a screen in the public bar, plus three televisions for the many sports fans.

Normally two cask ales are served by handpull, sometimes from local MòR Beers, with other changing beers from across Britain. Good-quality meals are served in the Art Deco lounge; food times currently uncertain.
