The Branch's Newsletter “Tay Ale” began in Autumn 2008 and was produced twice a year. Copies of the current issue are available in most of the real ale outlets in Tayside.

Our first newsletter for 2019 is now out - so keep a look out in your local outlet.....

REAL ALE SERVED HERE..................

Welcome to the Tayside Branch of Camra

Our aim is quite simple... to promote, preserve, and — of course — DRINK real ales! This is achieved by visiting the pubs themselves, to encourage landlords to promote real ale, and for us to give support to those that already do.

Real ale pubs in our area : lists can be seen via the REAL ALE OUTLETS link above. We have given them all an A4 Window Poster to display. And do give us your opinions about beers and pubs in the area that you've recently tried. We need plenty input for taking informed decisions on Pub Awards each year, including entries for CAMRA's annual book, the Good Beer Guide.

Branch activities: we currently have a small active membership which we are continually trying to increase — aiming to promote more activities such as trips out to rural villages, hill walking, or brewery visits. We produce a regular Newsletter, available in most real ale outlets in the region. We meet at least once a month and anyone is welcome to come along. See our Diary for times and dates. Or how about coming along to one of the local Beer Festivals being held in the area?
