    It has now been confirmed that the Melville, Comrie, is no longer selling real ale, except on special occasions. eg the Comrie Fortnight (in July).

    Wasted Degrees have now opened their taproom in Perth, which will open Thursday to Sunday. No cask ales are on offer at this time, but a wide selection of craft beers and other drinks are available, with strong efforts being made to source from local producers and suppliers where possible.

    The Stag’s Head in Carnoustie has ceased selling cask ale, citing insufficient demand and too much wastage, this coming just around a year since they began selling it.

    It has been reported that Whitbread intend to dispose of their entire pub estate. In Tayside, this will affect the two Beefeater sites in Dundee: Riverside and Gourdie Croft.
