This is another trail by bus. Unfortunately , the buses are not very frequent - two-hourly. On the bright side, that does allow time to sample a couple of decent beers, or even have a meal. Check the Stagecoach bus app for precise times for the Stagecoach bus number 17 between Perth and Auchterarder, which passes through Bridge of Earn and Dunning.

There are no pubs serving cask ales beyond Dunning on this route, but the village itself boasts the excellent Kirkstyle Inn which serves high quality food. The Kirkstyle Inn is opposite St Serf’s church, where you can see the Pictish Dupplin Cross.

Bridge of Earn is served by other bus routes running to and from Perth, Kinross, Newburgh (Fife), and St Andrews (also Fife), in addition to the 17, so it is a good stop-off between Dunning and Perth. On Back Street, parallel to B of E Main Street, is the Tipsy Coo (formerly the Cyprus Inn), which has a large outdoor area.
