Traditional village inn dating from 1760 overshadowed by the impressive Norman steeple of St Serf's Church which contains the ancient Dupplin Cross and other Pictish relics.
Accommodation with breakfast and dining on locally sourced meat, eggs and cheese; open seven days for food and drink, but from 5pm on Mondays.
Two or three cask ales are usually served from the small cosy public bar, often including the Kirkstyle's own real house ale called Risky Kelt - could it possibly be an anagram?
