20 years ago Glenfarg had 2 hotels providing real ale to locals and visitors. However, since the Glenfarg Hotel closed down in 2015, the village has had no regular pub at all.

Previously located at the tennis pavilion, the pub has now relocated to the village hall, and adjacent former schoolhouse, now known as Glenfarg Community Centre.

So over the festive period, this community pop-up village pub provides daily festive cheer and beer. December 2024 opening 18th to 29th from 4pm (but closed Christmas Day).

Open as Glenfarg Summer Pub in August 2025, from 6th to 17th daily 4pm - 11pm, with two cask ales from Harviestoun.

Reopening again as Glenfarg Village Festive Pub in December 2025, advertised from 17th to 28th daily 5pm - 10:30pm, except opening night from 4pm
