The Pillars was taken over by local character John Justice in late 2010, with a single hand pull pouring ale sourced frequently from MòR Beers. A fascinating feature is the internal link behind neighbouring shop fronts to the Salty Dog next door. Dating back to 1864, this institution for its loyal regulars is believed to be the oldest pub in Dundee, and recently celebrated its 160 years.
