This pub is a single-room establishment featuring high ceilings with dark wood panelling and a fine staircase up to the closed first floor. The balcony on the stairs is used for live musicians. There are a number of alcoved seating areas, making for privacy if desired.

Poured from a single handpull, ales from Stewart Brewing or Harviestoun, have been joined by Brew Toon, while Moulin Braveheart sometimes makes a rare appearance on the changing cask beer rotation.
